A step-up too far?

Calling all vertically challenged guys….

Here’s something to tickle your fancy (or not!)

The wonderful Marc Jacobs who once (infamously) donned a skirt, has been spotted wearing a pair of Rick Owens’s high heels too! Showcasing his new look at the Louis Vuitton SS09 show, he offered an explaination:

“I don’t always wear high heels. I always get nuts when women go, ‘Oh, men don’t know what it’s like – women in heels, women in skirts, women in dresses – what it’s like to suffer for fashion.”

“Although I’ve always wanted to be taller, which is the real reason I wore them, I also thought I can show that I, too, will suffer for fashion.”

The ladies at Soloro HQ are a hung jury on this one. We can appreciate the sentiment (suffering like the ladies do) but seriously, who wants a guy who outshines your own pair of platform beauties? Pah!

So guys, if you want a great pair of formal shoes that won’t magically make you look taller but will attract the right kind of attention, a pair of Democrata will work out a real treat!

Our favourite style is Oliver which has a gorgeous silver gleam. These are bang on trend and will please the ladies more than a 6ft5 burly hunk…kind of…..

LOL is that what you young people would say in this cases? Hello there, i’m a 84 years old grandfather and I’ve just found this website in my browser history. My nephew used my laptop the last time he went here, I believe… he says LOL pretty often but I’ve started to undertand what it means only recently but he’s a good boy after all. Keep doing your best guys, Internet is a real blessing and you have no idea how lucky you are. Best wishes by a old man commenting for the first time
